Organic Wool Baby Diaper Cover

Why use wool diaper covers, you ask?  Mainly because they breathe so rashes and skin irritations are minimized.  Also because they move with baby, so chaffing is minimized.  Sound good so far?  Then please read on! We make our wool soakers out of certified organic Merino wool, so they are super soft! Wool soakers are the natural diaper cover your Great Granny used! Made in the style of traditional wool diaper soakers, with snug-fitting leg cuffs and wide elasticized waistband. Our wool diaper cover fits over cloth diapers to prevent leaks without chafing or pressing into baby's delicate skin. Purple, breathable, and machine washable, they are great for overnight!  Try the natural alternative to synthetic diaper covers - you'll never look back!

Preshrunk.  The other great thing about our wool soakers, is that you don't have to wash them unless they are poopy.  If they are moist from pee, you can just hang them to dry.  When they do need a wash, then gently hand wash in lukewarm or if you must, machine wash on super gentle cycle with lukewarm water with Eucalan which has lanolin in it. Gently squeeze moisture out (or if using a washer spin moisture out), roll in a towel to get more moisture out and either lay flat or hang hang to dry.  If your dryer has a no heat or very low heat setting you can tumble dry.  Once in a while you may need to put more lanolin back into the wool.  To do this in your sink, add about a tablespoon (1/4 inch line from a tube such as Lansinoh ), melt with hot water, then add lukewarm water and mix it around.  Make sure you have enough water to cover the wool cover.  Submerse the cover in the water and gently move it until it is fully saturated. Let it soak for at least 20-30 min or even longer.  Gently squeeze out and then dry in the same method as described above.
